Regional restaurants competing in the 2017 Coca-Cola Food Festival received over 40 000 public votes. Judging for Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, Free State and North West restaurants happens at James and Ethel Gray Park in Johannesburg on Saturday, 2 September. From 10am, expect nine hours of great food and entertainment with Micasa, talented local performers, celebrity chef Zola Nene, DJ Slique and comedian Mpho Popps. A special Kiddie Zone will keep children entertained. Tickets from Computicket at R100 per person. Pensioners receive a 50% discount and children under 12 enter for free. Judging for other provinces takes place on 2 September in Gauteng.
