Ashraf Patel has a Master's in Management, ICT Policy and Regulation, Wits University. Ashraf leads the Digital Society, Trade 4 Development programme – a new and vibrant programme that conducts research and advocacy in the field of ICT and the emerging 4th Industrial Revolution for Development (4IR) and trade equity, etc. He writes regularly on global governance issues, focusing on the G20, Africa Union and BRICS and G77.
