Gcinibandla Mtukela is a PhD student in Politics at the University of Johannesburg. He holds a Master’s in Education Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in English as a Second Language, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Labour Law. He is currently employed as the Advisor to the Executive Mayor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality. He also serves as a SACO Researcher and has previously held roles as Council Member at MBTC, Chief Curator at the Red Location Museum, and Deputy Registrar at Rhodes University. His interests lie in Arts, Culture, and Heritage, with a particular focus on their political dimensions.
