Ofentse Victoria Montshiwe is a cultural policy researcher, educator, and creative entrepreneur passionate about transforming education through the arts. She is the Founder and Creative Director of Mjojo Finance Play (MJP), a pioneering initiative that blends theatre and financial literacy to empower young South Africans with practical money skills and creative confidence. Holding a bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Cape Town, Ofentse brings over a decade of experience as a Creative Arts teacher and musician. Her innovative programmes, including Mjojo’s Journey to Financial Freedom and the Financial Literacy Youth Festival, use storytelling and performance to make financial education engaging and culturally relevant for learners from early childhood to university level. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Cultural Policy and Management at Wits University, Ofentse continues to champion inclusive, arts-based education that builds financial confidence and redefines how young Africans shape their futures.
