Mariapaola

Mariapaola (MP) has been working in the creative economy for over 20 years. She is a visual arts practitioner, lecturer, and researcher. She believes that being a creative entrepreneur and a practitioner allows her to always remain plugged into the realities and challenges facing creatives on-the-ground; but also, that through research, presentations and engagement both within and external to the creative economy, strategies and discussions can be had to better understand the sector and how to reach its potential.

MP has an executive MBA (with merit) from Henley Business School and honours in Visual Arts (cum laude) from the University of Johannesburg.
