Zama Mkosi

Zama is an attorney with over 20 years of professional experience practising as a media and entertainment lawyer, including secondment with a Los Angeles-based Entertainment Law Firm. In her early years as a media and entertainment lawyer, Zama was recognised and featured by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the African Media influencers under 30!

Zama has held several senior executive management, COO and CEO positions in the public and private sector, 6 years as a CEO of NFVF, an organization responsible for spearheading the South African Film Industry growth and development on local and international platforms.

Over the years she has provided legal and business advice on structuring finance, sales and distribution deals for multiple local and global award-winning film and entertainment projects. She is currently the chairperson of the Film and Publications Board.
