Aifheli Makhwanya

Ms. Aifheli Makhwanya is an independent consultant & researcher in the CCIs with research interests in media law & cultural governance. She is founder & MD of Dzanda Consulting & Events (Pty) Ltd. She is a former Head of Policy & Research at the NFVF (2008-2018). She serves as a member of the Market Theatre Foundation Council, ICASA’s Consumer Advisory Panel and serves in other funding advisory committees in the audio-visual sector. She holds an LLB & LLM (Communications Law) from Wits University and recently completed her MA in Cultural Policy & Management at the same university (pending graduation).
