THE City of Cape Town will host the fifth edition of the Cape Town Art Fair (CTAF) from 17-19 February 2017 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. The Art Fair will display a diverse amount of contemporary art from leading local and international galleries. The CTAF will be curated by the newly appointed curator Tumelo Mosaka, who recently returned to South Africa after almost a decade of working in the United States. Exhibitors at the CTAF will be coming from established and emerging art centres including London, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Lagos and Abidjan. Included in the list of exhibitors are galleries which represent good quality works and thriving contemporary African art scene, namely, the Goodman Gallery, STEVENSON, Blank Projects, SMAC Gallery, Gallery 1957 from Accra, Ghana. The CTAF 2017 will also feature a new section titled, UNFRAMED, which will allow for interaction and dialogue amongst those who will attend the fair, on contemporary art.
