IT’S BEEN just over a month since the SACO’s first national conference, Counting Culture 2016, and the initial round of papers and presentations are now available on the SACO Counting Culture 2016 conference website.
While not all papers and presentations are featured due to outstanding permissions, attendees making changes and edits to their content, and other sensitivities, the SACO is happy to report that many of those on the programme have submitted their content.
“A report on the conference success and a summary of findings and proceedings is under development and will be released soon,” said Richard Haines, SACO chief executive.
“However we are very happy that so many of our conference attendees and presenters have made the time to make their insights and presentations public – this is one of the major outcomes for the SACO and the more research that is open source, the better decisions the industry will be able to make.”
An update of the SACO Research Agenda will also be made publically available after all inputs have been considered and applied to the national guiding document for research in the arts, heritage and culture sector and the creative and cultural industries.
