Dear Creative - This is your invitation to be part of research commissioned to the South African Cultural Observatory (SACO) by the National Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) on the most important economic trends affecting the sector in South Africa.
Join an online focus group on Wednesday the 27th of November to share your opinions on trends like online platforms and streaming services, copyright protection, working in the “gig” economy, global value chains and environmental sustainability.

The South African Cultural Observatory (SACO) is captivated by the news that South Africa assumes the G20 Presidency from 1 December 2024 through to November 2025. Tying in well with the SACO 5th International Conference in November 2025, SACO anticipates that several issues dealt with during the G20 negotiations, will form part of some interesting discussions which will ensue.
