The South African Cultural Observatory is proud to announce that it is hosting the 2018 International Conference at the stadium – already a well-known site for sporting and cultural events.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium is situated in the industrial and residential suburb of North End in Port Elizabeth. Aside from world-class facilities, the stadium is also easily accessible with major highways minutes away, making the rest of Nelson Mandela Bay, including the city’s many tourism and cultural hotspots easy to get to. Most of the major hotels and guesthouses are within about 15 minutes’ drive from the stadium, as are the city’s beaches, gallery districts, restaurant nodes, and outdoor experiences.
