Elise Brunelle

Elise Brunelle has been the Financial Manager of Cape Town Opera over the past 10 years, SA’s largest classical non-profit performing arts company with over 325 international performances since 2010. CTO produces an average one new opera or musical every 18 months, supported by both local and international grants, of which half are picked up by overseas tour promoters and opera houses. Elise oversees the finance, human resource and international contract engagements for the company. Prior to her work in South Africa, she worked in the US as Financial Manager at the University of Minnesota Music School, and Production Coordinator at resident theatre companies such as the Guthrie Theatre and the Walnut Street Theatre. Elise received a BA cum laude at Lawrence University (WI), and studied towards a Masters Degree in Public Policy: International Finance at the U of MN Humphrey Institute (MN).
