In this study, the macroeconomic impact of the CCI sector in South Africa was determined by making use of the CSA that is embedded in the CCI SAM and the Macroeconomic Impact Assessment Model (MIAM). The main advantage of this study is that it has been performed on a very detail basis. Clearly, data can only be enhanced when it can be broken down to such an extent that it can be referenced to practical examples in the economy. From the reports analysis, it is clear that South Africa’s CCI sector has a sizeable impact on the economy.
